Thank you – I’ve been searching to figure this one out and it is so simple!! Just for those that read this, if you don’t call your homepage ‘main’ you call it ‘home’ or some other name, you would simply swap it out with whatever its called.
Such as:
.home .headline_area {display:none;}

Thank you! I’ve wanted to do that for ages. One point, if the slug of the page is different to the title of the page, the code in the custom css must reflect the pages slug, not just the title.
